Our preschool program in Billings prepares children ages 3 to 5 for kindergarten. Readiness is not only knowing letters and numbers. It is also being able to sit for a group activity, follow a two-step direction, ask for help, and work through a disagreement, and we build all of it into the day.
Children work on letter recognition, phonics, and pre-reading skills, along with counting, number recognition, sorting, and patterns. Fine motor work with scissors, crayons, and pencils prepares hands for writing. Science exploration, art projects, and open-ended questions keep curiosity in the driver's seat rather than drilling worksheets. By the time children leave for kindergarten they are used to classroom routines and comfortable in a group.

Common Questions
Is this preschool or daycare?
Both. Children in the 3 to 5 age range get structured preschool learning during the day while still having full daycare coverage from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM, so working parents do not need to arrange separate care around a short preschool session.
Does my child need to be potty trained for preschool?
Most children this age are, but we work with families individually rather than turning children away over it. Bring it up when you visit and we will talk it through.
Will my child be ready for kindergarten?
That is the goal of the program. We cover early academics along with the routines and social skills that kindergarten teachers expect, and we will tell you honestly where your child is as the year goes on.
